On February 6th, 2025, the Bahamas Development Bank hosted Community by Design, an engaging event designed to connect entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries with new business opportunities. Held at the University of The Bahamas, the event introduced attendees to lessons learned from the Build Back Equal Project and the Cornerhouse Project, a Bay Street market aimed at providing low-cost spaces to grow small businesses. From artisans and agroprocessors to performers and manufacturers, participants gained insight into how to monetize their ideas and expand their reach.
