Higgs, Strategic Development & Initiatives Executive Manager Sumayyah Cargill and Financial Controller Vernique Henfield shared how BDB is creating sustainable, inclusive spaces where Bahamian entrepreneurs can grow—through access to branding, visibility, technical support, and affordable retail opportunities.
We were honored to hear remarks from inspiring partners: Precious Thompson (FAO), who spoke about our partnership with the Joint SDG Fund, Joey Gaskins (Disney Cruise Line)—who spoke on our partnership in South Eleuthera—and His Excellency Jamaal Rolle, the Celebrity Artist, who designed the vibrant mural “Threads of Bahamian Joy” that will represent culture, creativity, and community at the site on West Hill & Cumberland Street.
