An inspiring and productive 3rd Annual ReDeCA Meeting, hosted by The Bahamas Development Bank (BDB) in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE), was held from September 11-13 at Baha Mar. With a focus on strengthening evaluation capacity to drive impactful development, the meeting brought together distinguished leaders to discuss key topics such as institutionalizing evaluation functions, aligning with the sustainable Development goals (SDGs), and defining effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E) indicators.
We were honored to hear remarks from distinguished leaders, including The Right Hon. Philip Davis, Prime Minister of The Bahamas, The Hon. Zane Enrico Lightbourne, Minister of State for the Environment of The Bahamas, Nicholas Higgs, BDB Managing Director, Marialisa Motta, Director of OVE/IDB, Ilan Goldfain, President of IDB and Damaria Ebanks from the Development Bank of Jamaica. Their contributions reinforced the critical importance of collaboration in advancing development outcomes and fostering positive change across the region.
