“We are incredibly grateful to the Bahamas Development Bank for the grant funding provided through the Elevate Eleuthera Program. This support came at a pivotal time for Clean Air Farms and helped us expand our visibility and operations in meaningful ways.

Thanks to the Gender Equitable financing accelerator program (GEFAP) grant, my partner and I were able to attend the UB North Innovation Expo and Awards Ceremony, where our products gained valuable exposure. Since then, we’ve proudly launched our items in the Grand Bahama market through Island Diva Creative Design.

The funding allowed us to cover travel, transportation, inventory, and digital promotion—enabling Clean Air Farms to not only grow our brand but to reach new audiences. This has been a game-changing opportunity for us as a local agricultural business.

Thank you again for your belief in our vision and for helping us thrive!”

“Since receiving the laptop, my productivity has significantly increased. This boost in output enabled me to hire a full-time team member and take on more projects. The resulting increase in revenue allowed me to purchase a laptop for the new team member as well. Additionally, I’ve gained 10 new long-term clients and expanded my mobile operations, allowing me to complete projects more efficiently and at a faster rate.”

“Securing funding from the Bahamas Development Bank was a smooth and straightforward process that allowed us to scale at a critical time. At that stage, access to capital wasn’t readily available elsewhere, but BDB was deeply committed to supporting young businesses especially those in manufacturing and industrial sectors like ours. Through their assistance and government manufacturing exemptions, we were able to make a significant leap into the market. From my experience, any entrepreneur willing to take the risk can find a true partner in BDB. Success won’t happen overnight it requires patience, consistency, and discipline but with the right support, the results are transformational.”

Their team has been the most understanding, compassionate, and professional group I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I remain optimistic about future initiatives and the continued impact of their support on local businesses like mine.”

“Thirteen years ago, Freeport, Grand Bahama was thriving with opportunity. Thanks to a $900,000 loan from the Bahamas Development Bank, we were able to purchase a 226-foot vessel with capacity for 1,000 passengers, 12 containers, and palletized cargo. That investment transformed our business—and we successfully repaid the loan in just seven years.”

“The Bahamas Development Bank played a key role in the growth of my business by financing the purchase of our operational facility as well as an additional machine to expand production. With my background in banking, I had a general idea of what to expect, but the process with BDB was far smoother and less challenging than anticipated. Simply put, my business wouldn’t be where it is today without their support.”

“We heard about BDB and the grants being offered to small businesses, and the process was smooth and well-organized. We qualified under the Orange Economy category due to our unique shoe and apparel designs. Thanks to the grant, we were able to bring our creative vision to life. As demand grew, we expanded beyond custom shoes and now offer our own branded clothing line.”
