Partner Highlight: C15 Studios
Through our Memorandum of Understanding with C15 Studios, a Trinidad & Tobago-based impact-investment firm specializing in the orange economy (creative and cultural sectors), BDB now offers Bahamian creatives access to up to US $1.5 million in debt or equity financing.
Founded in 2018 by Aspire Fund Management, C15 Studios aims “to take the Caribbean creative economy to the world by linking creatives to finance in a sustainable and profitable environment”. Their services include:
- Short- and medium-term cash flow loans for creative professionals (e.g., film, fashion, architecture, music, visual arts, technology)
- Completion-bond insurance for film and media projects, supporting quality production in the Caribbean
- Equity-style investments and trade financing tailored to scale cultural and lifestyle businesses across 15 creative sectors
This partnership means BDB can now channel international creative-sector capital directly to qualified Bahamian enterprises. BDB acts as your local liaison, advising on proposal structuring, preparing funding applications, and facilitating capital deployment through C15.
